Make AI work FOR YOU!

A lot of people are worried that artificial intelligence will take away their jobs. But have you considered that you still have control? Instead of worrying about what AI will take away, why not think of ways to leverage your own career by making AI work FOR YOU? If you're a creative person like me than you have countless options to utilize this new technology.

Think of AI as the encyclopedia of the 21st century. First we had research books, then we leveled up to internet search engines, and now we have AI tools to help generate information, and content. Why not use AI tools to enhance your current knowledge, ideas, and skills?

For example, as a writer I have no problem coming up with ideas for my blogs and writing has always come easy for me. Luckily, I'm also skilled as a digital artist using tools like Adobe Photoshop. But as a conceptual artist, I'm lacking both the patience, and the skill to draw anything other than stick figures.

So today I asked Chat GPT for 5 tools to help me enhance my digital image productivity. Here are the results I received from Open AI:

Open AI's description: "DeepArt.io uses neural networks to transform photos into artwork by applying the styles of famous painters. It's a fun and innovative way for photographers and artists to reimagine their work through the lens of different artistic styles."

4. Runway ML:

Open AI's description: "Runway ML offers a suite of AI-powered tools for creatives, including video editing, image generation, and style transfer. It provides an accessible platform for artists, designers, and filmmakers to experiment with AI without needing deep technical knowledge."

3. Adobe Sensei:

Open AI's description: "Adobe Sensei integrates AI and machine learning into Adobe Creative Cloud applications. It enhances tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro with features like automated photo editing, video tagging, and intelligent content recommendations, streamlining the creative process."

2. DALL-E by OpenAI:

Open AI's description: "DALL-E generates images from textual descriptions, enabling artists and designers to create visual content based on their written ideas. It's particularly useful for visual brainstorming and creating unique artwork without extensive graphic design skills."

1. GPT-3 by OpenAI:

Open AI's description: "GPT-3 is a powerful language model capable of generating human-like text. It's used for creative writing, brainstorming ideas, drafting emails, and even composing poetry and stories. Its versatility makes it a valuable tool for writers and content creators."

DeepArt, Adobe Sensei, and DALL-E sound the most interesting to me. I plan to do further research and will write a follow up of my findings. I'll also let you know if I end up using one of them for my next creative project. Recently, I have used other AI tools (like Midjourney) to help me create digital illustrations. Midjourney is not bad once you figure out how to access it on Discord and write the prompts, so I imagine these 5 tools will have a similar learning curve.

Finally, don't blatantly copy, or rely 100% on AI tools but do use them as a starting point. Input your own ideas, and edit the outcome! There will be a lot of opportunities (and challenges) presented by this new technology. So get on board, do your own research and figure out the best ways to make AI work FOR YOU.
